Ewo Harrell has over twelve years of government, nonprofit, and consulting experience in project management, policy, advocacy, strategy, and communications, with specific expertise in health equity and chronic disease prevention. As an independent consultant, key projects have included business operations, research, social media, organizational development, strategic planning, and strategy. Before that, she was a program manager for Vital Strategies, overseeing 27 activities in NCD prevention and COVID-19 response for 11 cities in the U.S., South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. As a District Representative for U.S. Congressman Joe Negues (CO-2), she also led public health initiatives.
In her spare time, she volunteers on leadership and advisory committees for national health-related nonprofit organizations and community-based groups and aids in the political campaigns of progressive women. She is proud to serve as Vice-Chair on the National Kidney Foundation of Colorado's Board of Advisors and has worked with the national organization for ten years.
Ewo received a Master's in Public Health degree from Brown University School of Public Health, where she was a Global Health Scholar, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Chinese from Union College (N.Y.).
