56th Annual Medical Symposium

The 56th Annual Medical Symposium, a Bay Area nephrology community tradition, is a day-long program that provides healthcare professionals with timely updates on CKD guidelines & standards, treatments, research, and co-morbidities, so they may better partner in the care of people with kidney disease. This program will take place in-person on Friday, October 18, 2024 (7:00am-5:00pm PT). Registrants may also participate in the symposium online with on-demand access to recordings post-event.

Community Education Session: Finding a Living Donor

Join us on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 11am PT / 1pm CT / 2pm ET for a free Finding a Living Donor program, where you'll learn ways to write and share your story for a living donor to come forward! This program is for people with later stage kidney disease who are thinking about transplant or who are already on the waitlist, their care partners, family members and/or those interested in learning more about living donation.
In this free virtual program from the National Kidney Foundation in partnership with Thermo Fisher, you will:
- Learn tools to encourage you to share your story to find a living kidney donor
- Learn about the benefits of transplants from a living donor
- Hear personal stories from kidney patients and families on how they found a living kidney donor by sharing their story
