Kidney Disease Education (KDE)
NKF-CAPP has developed a shortened version of the 2010 “Your Treatment Your Choice” slide set for use with KDE classes. This resource includes speaker notes with updated references and peer-reviewed guidelines. KDE classes can be taught (and billed!) for all Stage 4 Medicare patients, on the same day as an office visit, as an individual class (CPT: G0420) or a group class (CPT: G0421) by an Advanced Practice Provider or Physician only. Use our slide set to make the classes fun and interactive. Feel free to share the slide set with your colleagues, print the slides for your patients, and share the program with your non-nephrology colleagues.
