I have been practicing as a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner in Mississippi for 20 years. I am an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner trained at The University of Mississippi with a Nephrology specialty education via Vanderbilt University. I am certified as a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner and earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama in 2010. I spent 3 years in private Nephrology practice treating dialysis and CKD patients. In 2006, I joined the faculty of the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). At UMMC my clinical practice is general Nephrology. My primary clinical focus is acute and chronic renal replacement therapies. I see patients weekly in general Nephrology clinic. I teach locally and nationally, and support the research efforts of the Division of Nephrology.
Catherine is a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner practicing in Mississippi for 20 years. She trained as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at The University of Mississippi Medical Center and specialized in Nephrology through Vanderbilt University. She is certified as a Nephrology Nurse Practitioner and in 2010 earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama. Catherine is part of the Nephrology faculty at the University of Mississippi Medical Center with clinical and leadership roles in academics and dialysis services.
