Valerie Dixon is a Managing Director in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley. As a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and numerous boards, Dixon brings more than 16 years of corporate finance experience to the NKF National Board of Directors. She has advised global corporations on a range of strategic and financial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, and debt and equity financings.
Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Valerie was an Executive Director of J.P. Morgan’s Healthcare Investment Banking group. Previously, she spent eight years with Citigroup and Lehman Brothers, in roles of increasing responsibility including as a sell-side Research Analyst covering emerging medical technology, life sciences tools, and diagnostic sectors.
Valerie earned an MBA from Yale School of Management and is a graduate of Harvard College. She also serves on the board of The Metropolitan Opera.
Ms. Dixon understands the devastating effect of kidney disease through the lens of her clients who are medical device entrepreneurs developing new, exciting innovations for the diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of chronic diseases, including kidney disease.
