Do you want to set yourself up for a great tax deduction next year? If so, donating to Kidney Cars might be right up your alley.
Why Donate to Kidney Cars
It’s not always easy to find a way to make a difference in the life of someone in need. However, when you donate a car to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) you make a huge difference for a lot of people.
Established over 3 decades ago, Kidney Cars is one of the first and most trusted car donation programs in the country. National Kidney Foundation meets the extensive standards certified by the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance. Through car donations, the NKF raises money for education, research, and life-saving medical support for individuals with kidney disease and those at risk of kidney disease. Your support helps us push kidney equity forward and work towards Kidney Transplants For All.

Donate In 3 Simple Steps
It’s actually very easy to donate to Kidney Cars! All you really need is the car’s title (if you are donating a tractor, you’ll also need the serial number) but if you don’t have that, we can help you obtain it.
Here’s how to donate your car to Kidney Cars:
- Call us at 800-488-2277 (CARS) or fill out our online form with the information about yourself and your vehicle. Click here if you are from Hawaii. Click here if you are from Idaho or Utah.
- Schedule a time for your vehicle to be towed for free. We can pick up your vehicle at a time and place most convenient for you.
- You will receive a receipt within 30 days for tax purposes. If you itemize your deductions, you will be able to deduct the value of your car for it’s actual sale price or $500, whichever is greater.
