18th Annual Joint Meeting of the Upstate and Western NY Councils on Renal Nutrition

The National Kidney Foundation’s 18th Annual Joint Meeting of the Upstate and Western New York Councils on Renal Nutrition is a day-long symposium for dietitians. This program will enhance the clinicians’ ability to make appropriate nutritional recommendations for his/her patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) through the examination of the topics of Controversies in Kidney Transplant, Advocating for Food Policies and Systems that Support Health, An Update on Medications with Renal- Protective Effects, Racial Disparities in Hypertension, Home Therapies and the Kidney Health Initiative and Plant-Based Diet for Chronic Kidney Disease.
