The NKF Innovation Fund launched on April 7th and is supported by investments from NKF community members like you. This new, first-ever investment initiative will support companies who are creating innovative, patient-centric kidney therapies. 

Through strategic investments, we’re committed to finding and developing better treatments faster – improving and sustaining even more patient lives. Startup companies targeted by the fund cover a wide range of innovative solutions for kidney patients, including artificial kidneys, portable dialysis devices, infection reduction technology, and rehabilitation of damaged kidneys. 

The Innovation Fund is already attracting interest from potential partners and has made its first investment in Seattle-based Kuleana Technology, a company developing a portable dialysis device allowing patients to dialyze on the go.
