New Frontiers in Vascular Access Creation: The Role of endoAVF in Hemodialysis

Surgically created dialysis arteriovenous fistula has been the predominant AV access choice for over half of a century. However, patients often experience obstacles to a functional fistula including protracted wait times for creation, poor maturation rates, and fistula dysfunction.

The recent advent of endovascular devices allows for creation of percutaneous AVFs by more providers enabling patients to avoid surgery and improving their experience and outcomes.

The lecture and dinner are complimentary but registration is required.
