Spring Clinical Meetings

The Spring Clinical Meetings (SCM) is NKF's premiere educational event designed for the interprofessional kidney health team. SCM presents a unique opportunity for busy renal health care professionals to explore innovation, research, and best clinical practice within nephrology.

SCM25 at a Glance

SCM25 will take place in Boston, MA with pre-conference courses on April 9 and the main conference running from April 10 to 13, 2025

  • NKF offers two types of registration: SCM In-Person + On-Demand and SCM On-Demand Only.
  • On-Demand registrants will have access to meeting content through May 29, 2025.
  • Abstract submissions open August 30, 2024 and close December 2, 2024.
  • Registration for SCM25 is now live, with an opportunity for early-bird registration.

NKF Spring Clinical Meetings Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Identify advances in clinical and translational research and healthcare delivery that will impact the care of patients with kidney disease.
  • Integrate best practices in diagnosis and treatment for acute and chronic kidney diseases, kidney failure, kidney transplantation and replacement therapies, hypertension, and electrolyte and other kidney-related disorders.
  • Enhance skills of the interprofessional team, including trainees and new professionals to nephrology, to improve the lives of patients with kidney disease.
  • Develop competency in recognizing and mitigating health disparities in the care of patients with kidney disease, including considerations for social determinants of health and access to resources.
