Become a Volunteer with NKF

Join the National Kidney Foundation and make a difference by volunteering at our various events, including walks, patient events, galas, and more. As a volunteer, you can help us organize and execute kidney walks in your community, from registration to cheering on participants. Assist with patient education seminars and support groups, offering a helping hand and a kind ear to those affected by kidney disease. Contribute your skills to our fundraising events, such as galas and auctions, by helping with setup, logistics, and guest support. Additionally, you can raise awareness about kidney disease risk factors by representing NKF at local health fairs and community events, educating others about kidney function and disease prevention through our "Your Kidneys & You" program. KEEP Healthy — Free Kidney Health Check

The National Kidney Foundation's community-based initiative to educate about the kidneys, risk factors for kidney disease, and steps to take to keep kidneys healthy and reduce risk. Thank you to our local sponsor, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas, for funding our KEEP Healthy screenings across the state. Working together we will impact local communities by offering these preventive and educational screenings in Texas communities where it's needed most.
