Karen Greathouse has been a dietitian since 1986. She has worked in renal for 29 years. Over the years she has been active on both the local and national level of CRN. She has been the local CRN chair for Michigan twice. She has been the Region 3 Representative and the chair elect, chair, and past Chair of the National CRN. She has also participated in the Michigan NKF zoo walk for many years.
She is passionate about sharing her love for renal dietitians with both patients, community members, and other professionals. She has been featured in some NKF podcasts. She has served on Kidney Foundation Education Committee since its conception. She has served as faculty for the CKD Change Package. She has presented at both local and national conferences on both renal disease and diabetes. She earned her Certified Clinical Transplant Dietitian credential in 2023.
Karen has been a dietitian since 1986 and has served the National Kidney Foundation in several capacities at both the local and natonal level.
