Stephanie Stewart has a personal connection to kidney disease through her professional work related to dialysis and transplantation. Many of the individuals, mostly patients, that she has worked with have touched her life in a very personal way. Stewart bonds with the patients, and their stories inspire her to lend her voice in support of everything the National Kidney Foundation stands for.
As a Board member at NKF, Stewart cares about improving the lives of people with chronic kidney disease. She represents the Professional Councils on the Board, and her main goal is to ensure they are aware of what the Board is doing and to share NKF's vision for the future.
Her connection to kidney disease is through the patients she works with who are undergoing dialysis and transplantation. She cares about improving the lives of people with chronic kidney disease.
